No question whether the fish are there or not it is more so a question if they are ready to bite.
Floated from the Slide down to Elkton and had a so so day for late Septemeber. Boated 1 Coho with enough sea lice to answer the question of how fresh the fish are. Broke one off, had a thrown hook on another. A few Jacks here and there along the way as well. This stretch still has an abundace of small mouth activity as well to, little buggers love that Roe and attack the plugs.
My float partner put in at the county launch above Sawyers yesterday but didn't have that much luck at all, however the fish are there. Apparently they are stacked in there as if it was a fish trap.
Water temp is at 68-69 still a bit warm, soon as we get some more rain and that temp drops it should be amazing fishing.
Hope that helps out for anyone planning a trip
