Umatilla River Salmon (North East Zone)

Got phone conformation of salmon moving through the Umatilla river and people catching them right and left from a videographer who was trying to catch some salmon on film.

These have been holding at the mouth of the Umatilla waiting for the rain and river to rise a little bit, and now that we have had a good rain they are all moving upstream.

I am going out later today with a fishing pole for sure and maybe a camera.

saw a few nice coho. nothing was taking my offering, did see a few caught on fly rods and a few caught with roe under a float.
