Two timing steelhead rig

Looks like a good setup, mostly used while drifting.

That set up has been around for years, It was taken from fly fishing with trailers, same concept.

my thing I'd like to know is what knot do they tie to the hook shank

I use a simple trilene knot

thanks for posting, I am going to try it our this week, let ya all know how it goes.

Thanks all. It did look suspiciously like, a tandem fly rig. Funny how they try to make it seem like, a new concept. I mostly put in on here, in case some peeps hadn't tried it before.

Waiting for your report Handmethewrench.

I usually run a trailer fly under my bobber and jig setup. make sure its light so it floats around with good movement. if its heavy then you are to close to the bottom with 1 jig and not close enough with the other. Ive caught fish on both the jig and the fly, might get a rare double hook up! :P
