Recently got back from a camping trip. Fished Diamond on the 30th and on closing day Halloween. They were hitting a trolled 1/4 Thomas spoon, power eggs sun rise color, and night crawlers under a bobber. The 30th I kept 6 and could of had my 8 fish limit, but released quite a few looking for bigger fish. Halloween the weather turned to crap and my anchor couldnt hold me with all the wind. So I tried to troll into the wind and rain to get back to my car at the pizza parlor, that's when I picked up the first one on Halloween, a nice girthy 16" a twin from the nice one the day before. Got one more before I couldnt take the wind and rain any longer, but it slipped out of my hands while getting it on the stringer.
Also fished for some browns at one my favorite lakes. I was getting them on a 1/4 oz Thomas spoon. Either trolled or cast toward rising fish.
