Lakes Timothy Lake Fishing Reports

Winding down a two week vacation we hit Timothy Lake for the day. Trying our normal spots produced nada,zip,zilch! We anchored in a few spots we never have any luck, just to say we tried. Lights out catching! We typically release most stockers but we keep a couple @16 inches for the smoker. Extremely light traffic and beautiful day with my wife on the lake. She likes to anchor and plunk power bait,so when she’s on board that’s what we do. That school of Kokanee on the screen are only 6-8 inches so don’t get excited [emoji15]

Great picture of the lake and your boat. Timothy can be a beautiful spot to fish especially on a clear day with Mt. Hood as a back drop.
The color those fillets is spectacular. Nice post!

How rough are the roads to Timothy? I was as far as Harriet - do they get worse than that?

If you go up Hwy 26 and take the turnoff to Timothy, the roads are just fine.

Thanks for the reply. Is timothy good off the bank? That fishing in Oregon book mentions that it is generally a boat lake since it is one of the few that allows a motor. Haha, anyone want to take me out on Timothy?
