Third time to Hagg lake

My grandsons and I just got back from our third trip to Hagg lake. Nice sunny day with light wind. The water temp. was 72 deg. I finally landed a fish at this lake. A 2 pound smallmouth.

Nice man! Ive yet to catch a bass out of their but im not done trying yet either...

I'vecaught a few nice hogs out of there but I always let em go. want to keep the bloodlines goin. They sure are fun though

Thanks for the replies. My grandson found a good drop off where the bass will take nightcrawler around midday. We are going to Glide for the 4th. Good firework, food and company (for a small donation to the church, if you have it). Might be able to sneak out and fish early on the 3rd. Never fished the Umpqua River.
