I grew up in central Cali and I loved bass fishing but now I can hardly find decent spots I went out to these lakes a few weeks ago and got a bluegill. I saw a lot of bass jumping tho! Any good tips on how to catch them and which lakes are the best?

I've caught bass in the first and 3rd lakes. I've seen a ton of them in the middle lake but I've never been successful at hooking any. A lot of people bass fish the 3rd lake.

hey thanks!!!

Best bass are in 3rd lake, best trout are in 1st and catfish are good where 1st and 2nd meet under the road.

the biggest pond, to the west, is the pond I've had the most luck with. although, they are small and nothing to write home about. biggest one I've caught from there was around...oh, close to a pound-ish?

there's 10 pounders in there that have been caught in recent years...

U can catch anything and everything in the second lake with a chartreuse crappie jig (curly tail grubs work the best) cast and retrieve it closer to the surface everything will destroy it watch carefully bout 10 ft from the bank sunny days and warm waters work best
