If you get bored with the infinite number of GIANT browns under the damn, you can fish the lake for some of the best largemouth, smallmouth and crappie fishing I have experienced. I haven't been over there in a couple years, but I can't wait to go back. We caught browns all day long on the river, with the biggest being 24inches. A guy about 100yds downstream from me landed a 31incher. We camped up top and caught tons of big smallmouth and largemouth ranginge from 2-5lbs. We were so bored of catching crappie we had a little competition; catch one with the most obsure rigging. And we still caught fish.... But, there is a mercury warning for the fish in the lake so be careful. Ughh.... I want to go back.....
