Summer Steel in the Fall

:dance: i sure wish that the other pic i took would have saved to my phone, but it didn't so i only have this 1 to show for my 1st Native all fins were intact and it had a nice red stripe down its side. i caught it on a 1/4 oz hammered brass spoon with a bit of orangish paint left on it. it was around 28-30" in the other pic i had 1 of my 10.5 Merrells next to its tail and the head was still 3-4" past where my second shoe would have been.

Nice fish! hard to tell from the pic. but almost looks like an early winter to me. Def could be a summer, just never seen one that fresh this late in the season . either way its a beauty! Nice one
