Springer Scent

What's everybody's favorite springer scent? I'm looking for a new one to try this season!

For inland Springers I'd say you hear more of Anise, Sandshrimp, Tuna and Krill. I myself haven't dialed it down for scent, but have hooked up on all these. Good eggs are the absolute KEY to Springers though. That will come with trial and error...It's a different ball game than the fallies. I have a few kinds where Fallies will choke them, but Springers wouldn't be caught near them.

Hmm alright thank you! I'll just start trying stuff till I find what works. My buddy has a really good egg cure I'll get from him to try.

Herring and tuna on plugs and spinners, otherwise I'm using eggs without any additional scent.

I don't have a boat yet. I'm gonna get one once I get outta highschool but for a little longer I'm a banker!

Shrimp is my go to scent for springers but as you can see there are lots of opinions out there. It depends on the day and I mix it up a lot if something isn't working.
