Springer fishing, Cathlamet, Wa

Set to go Springer fishing in Cathlamet Washington this coming Monday. Will have to be a pretty big storm to prevent me from going. LOL My fishing buddy and I rented a cabin over looking the marina and will keep my boat moored during the time we are there. I have lots of new spinners that I have been making during the winter and so it should be an interesting trip. We will go down on Monday and weather permitting stay through to Thursday. I'll keep you posted on how we do and what we used.

Just got back from Springer fishing in Cathalmet. Did not get anything. Wild only so no keepers. Saw one caught and heard of one caught. Appears the day before we got there the bite was decent. Isn't that the way it always is? LOL But had a good time and Tuesday was a beautiful day and water was smooth.
