Son's first mallards

My son got his first two mallards today. Finally some meat in the freezer!

I hike with guns, he hunts!!! I try to hunt but never find the prey. We have an english pointer and do mostly bird hunting. I'm saving for a bow so that's next. Gotta do something when fishing is slow.

I have been working on getting as much "Trigger time" in as possible myself these last few weeks! I love shotgunning moving targets, I love watching the birds work....too much fun!
