Anyone have experience using a sling shot to get cannonballs out from the shore? I just heard of this technique but haven't tried it.

guys used to and probably still do set up a sling shot device up at bonneville dam and cast peoples sturge setups out to the middle of the river they used a bucket for a spool and wound a bunch of line on it off of the reel pretty cool and very handy might be some footage on the internet some where on how to set up etc

try using a shotgun instead of slinshot. LOL
