Hi All! Family will be staying by the casino in Lincoln City. Just wondering what shore fishing opportunities are nearby? Does Devils Lake have much to offer?

I have heard there is pretty good bass fishing in devils lake. Might have to search for some bank fishing access though. I want to say there is trout in there also along with carp.

Yes it is stocked with trout. Although it's a shallow lake which warms up quickly (and can kill the trout). Plus it may be mostly fished out by now too.

You can surf perch fish along the beaches, just don’t fish from nw 30th street north. It’s the cascade head marine reserve. Gleneden beach area has some good beaches to fish. Sometimes fish can be caught around the mouth of the D river.

I'll be staying nearby the 15th street beach access and noticed it gets kind of rocky off shore right at the access point.
Any suggestions based on the screenshot map of if it's worthwhile to try out? Looks like a pool in the northern part of the screenshot, and maybe a trough in the southern part right at Sailor Jack's. New to surf fishing, would appreciate any insight (Glendenen Beach is on my list btw).
