Salish Ponds, What works, What doesn't.

Salish ponds is located in Fairview and Is a great trout fishing place.

Bait:
My bait rig is 8lb main line with a 1/2 to 3/4 oz egg sinker next a bead then swivel. use a small size 14 eggholder hook with Chartruse power eggs. Use a 2 foot leader and 6lb MONOFILAMENT for your leader. DONT CAST FAR. Most people think the fish are at 80'deep water, no cast 20'-30' from shore, reel in some slack and wait for a bite. Also I have caught fish with slip bobbers in the Warmer days.

Lures:
Small spinners like Blue foxes in size 3-4 in chartruse, Kastmasters are always good!

Here are some fish I caught in 2009.
