So, do you think that the rivers will be blown out tomorrow? Anywhere good in the NW area to chase down some steelies on the fly with the weather that is coming?

I doubt the clack will blow out. It's been running extra low this year, I don't see it rising too much, and the color should remain ok. At 13.5' the river is prime for swinging in my opinion. Doubt it will get that high, I'd expect close to 13 at most.

If ur gonna fly fish. stay with-in 2-3 miles of the mouth of any main tribs to the lower end of cosatal rivers. Salt and freshwater mix is important this time of year. GL Tony

If it were me (and it probably will be ;) ), I would go in the first half of the day and either the nearby Clackamas looks like it'll be OK for the beginning of the day, or the Wilson looks like it'll stay fishable the entire day. Though they will likely be rising. If you go Clack, I would aim for McIver or higher...and same for Wilson; aim higher up. I omit the Sandy because for some reason I just suck on that river, LOL.

Good luck!

the big part of the storm is not supposed to arrive til sunday so fishing should actually be pretty good during the weekend! If the storm is as bad as they say its going to be it very wll may blow out for the work week though...

I'm not gonna be able to fish this week, good luck out there guys. I'll be at McIver Saturday though
