P.S. If a peep simply took scissors to the tail on a standard rubber jig...you'd get the same action as those new fangled ones (and probably for 1/2 the price)!

seriously, though... that's just another "thingy" to expand your arsenal in the quest to overcome the variables one faces in the pursuit of the elusive fish. everyone knows one needs to be able to adapt to ever-changing conditions of the water, weather, air quality, barometric pressure, price of gas, political climate and whatnot. so, why not?

If'n I want to fish a jig, I'll stick to the Trout Magnets, which these seem to imitate. 1/64th shad dart jig with a split tail grub body. Very effective, but a no-no on waters closed to bait fishing. Don't need scent for them to work, either.
