What do you guys use for squawfish? I use old trout /sucker fillets or worms

Berkely powerbait worms, or a small jerkbait.

They crush a rapala countdown in the smaller 1" sizes!

Caught them on a senko too

I've seen people use crickets. I use long triangular strips of shad or trout about 2-3 inches long with the silvery skin showing, or a combo of a string of 4-5 mad river anise eggs and chicken liver on an egg loop knot.

Where do i get some crickets besides the pet store? can't find them naturally anywhere here in eugene

In the Dalles area, during warmer months you can collect a bunch of crickets, locusts, and grasshoppers. They all work, but the little guys are best. Otherwise you can buy like 50 medium to large crickets for cheaper than worms or chicken liver.
