Anyone know about when east lake will open, called over there but no answer at the lodge. Maybe next week?

I posted a recent report (5/1/09) on access to Paulina Lake on the kokanee forum. From the looks of things, I think it might be a few weeks...Paulina is about a third froze over on the West end, and the main road is blocked at the turnoff to the resort. There's around 3 feet of snow still at the Paulina campground. Getting to the campground, public launch, or up to East Lake is not an option at this time. You can use the resort launch at Paulina and get to open water through a channel cut through the ice.

It may be "open," but it snowed overnight (and this morning) in Sunriver.
Anyone heading that way, may want to call the resort first...
