Noti Log Pond 2021

NKlamerus
Fished for 3 hours today in the on/off rain that wasn't exptected. Temp was 44 degrees when I arrived and fairly windy between fronts

Water is real high but pretty clean, maybe the clearest I've seen it

I consider Noti one of the better ponds for quantity, but not quality, even though I have pulled one a hair over 5lbs out if it last year.

Today was also an exception, 4 fish in 3 hours but all healthy, largest one maybe 3lbs or just under.

Fish were tight to cover, every single fish came off the windward side of vertical structure, with a spinnerbait, 2/4 were barely hooked on the trailer.

Lots of brush clearing done, not sure what their plans are for the access bridge but it's not looking too healthy, be careful parking it's real muddy

Great!

2 hour trip today, caught 2 and missed another in the first hour, then the wind died. And so did the fishing.

All 3 fish were tight to structure, and wanted the bait as slow as possible.

Saw what looked like a beaver or giant nutria

Water is high, and relatively clear

Is this the pond that's on the maps as the Noti Creek Reservoir, right across from Rosboro Lumber on Vaughn Road?

Arrived at 5pm from Sutherlin and it was already raining! No one else on the water, guess oregonians don't bass fish in the rain?

Through a senko and spinnerbait for 2 hours and caught 15 fish. Lots of small fish, biggest was close to 3lbs

Poured the entire time, sun broke about 7pm and the wind picked up big time. 3rd time in 12 hours the wind forced me off the water

Three lakes in one day after sleeping through your alarm. That has to be a marathon record. Thanks for the pics!

Always on the move! I blame the coffee

I should have stayed at Ford's, skipped platt, and went straight to noti when the wind at Ford's got too bad, I wasted 30 minutes in Curtin looking at some other spots

Hit the water about 4pm yesterday, it was hot with no wind, lots of fish surface feeding, caught a few in some shady structure before the wind did a 180 and picked up. Fishing slowed after that

Ended with with 13 fish, no giants. Buddy I was with caught 9

There was another guy out there who had been there for 4 hours before us, and done a few circles, so most of the active ones had been caught, he was at a little over 2 dozen and we saw him catch a few more as well

You're getting the hang of left-handed lipping.

Another quick trip earlier this week, just been tired and crazy busy

Water was pretty dirty, and fry were EVERYWHERE, you can see crappie and bass chasing them down across the lake

only managed 6 bass, one fat one!

One on a buzzbait! Which might be my first ever on a buzzbait

Loaded up and got on the water about 5pm yesterday

14 fish total, 5 on Topwater frog and some on a topwater dragonfly

Only thing I didn't catch them on was a senko!

Super weedy out there, fish were on weed edges close to deep water, and the wind was ripping out of the west

Broke my brand new reel too

Nice fish. Bummer about the reel. Can you get it replaced under warranty?

Was gonna head out there, but it's closed for fire season!

Just opened back up, but it is LOW! Kinda hard to fish, only maybe 10% without visible weeds at or just below the surface. Fish are real spread out.

Caught 2 dinks on a senko and missed one more, they gotta be in there somewhere, water is still warm to the touch.
