Half and half, Lol one with my dough and the other with yours. Hooked one on corn but switch to dough cause the baby carp kept robbing me once it hit the water.

I lost 3 monsters from the hook popping out mid fight. Figuring that the hook is penetrating towards the front of the lip, not hooking the extra flesh I need for a solid reel in! I need to get different hooks maybe
Yep I know that place its a neighborhood park and I tried fishing there a couple times and as soon as the bait hit the water the baby carp would eat it right away. And I tried dough, corn, worms but the biggest fish i caught was catfish.

Its a very hard place to catch carp. I'm only one of the few that catch all the big ones lol

Do you think there's still a chance to catch some carp during this time of year at that place? Cus I heard my uncle says he fishes that place in late October and catches big ones? Any tips on how not to get your bait stolen?

Well he also catches the bigger ones, but not at my location. The spot I fish on Fairview is very difficult to get a bite. You gotta know where to cast. Well my bait gets stolen but I recast and check every 20-30 minutes lol but by that time within 10 minutes I usually get a carp on.
