No work? No problem (picture heavy)

Went into work yesterday and was pleasantly surprised with news that work for tomorrow (today) was canceled! Millwright partner Rick was quick to instruct me that we were to take the woodie down to the river and poke for a steelhead, and I couldnt tell him no. 22 degrees this morning at home when I went out to finalize the boat situation, and by the end of the day it was up around 33, but did not feel like it. No other soul on the river. Water was a great color, and a decent level. We ended up going 10-14, fairly exceptional, but nothing for the freezer. Here are a few pictures from our day.

Yeah thanks for the comments on the boat. My dad and I built it only 2 years ago, we will see how pretty it is after a few more!

Oh man! Catching fish like that makes you forget how cold it is. If I new the fishing was that good I would have gone anyway whether you had the day off or not. Just look at my signature.lol.
