New technique

I'm not sure if anyone has tried this but have never heard of anyone doing it. I was fishing the tualatin on my boat yesterday and I have heard of people slowly retrieving just a worm on a hook. So I decided to try and troll just a worm using just a single split shot. I worked very well landed 2 small mouth and lost another. What I did was troll as slow as I could and every so often I would pull my rod tip up to give slack to let the worm drop a bit. Just wanted to share my experience cause it work well for me.

Lol I've just never seen anyone troll with just a worm. I did have a question. Has anybody used worm harnesses that are made for walleye to fish for bass.

I think this business of putting worms on hooks is going to catch on, now it's on the internet.

Longlining, isn't that what it's called ?

You just may be, on to something! LOL

Yes; worms have made fish go bonkers...all over the world.

Try dropping one into a pocket, on your favorite trout stream sometime!

Or even without the split shot. Ultralight gear, spool it out as far away from the boat as you can, and move as slowly as you can...

But I'm just guessing, since it's a "new technique" and all.
