I took my mom and friend fishing above Maupin this Sunday. We got there right at daylight. i handed my mom my pole to fish with while i set hers up. right away she had a Fat 18in redside then a 16incher. I finished setting up her pole and within in ten minutes of fishing bam i caught this little guy.
It was a bunch of little trout and sucker for a while after that. Then i had a solid hit and handed my pole off to my mom. She pulled in a beautiful bright colored bull trout probably about 19-20 inches.
no more steelhead for the day but my buddy caught a nice trout that was his biggest fish on a flyrod yet

There was a good amount of OC flying around, but not many fish keying in on them. They were more into the little caddis that got pretty thick in the afternoon and evening.
