This is a combination of a late report and a current one. We made it to Miller Lake in the first part of August for about a week. Weather was great and the fishing was decent. We caught mostly rainbows, with a couple of kokanee and two browns. Mostly trolling flies, with a couple of rainbow patterned spinners, and I trolled a flasher/wedding ring setup for a little bit.
We went back this last weekend for a mad dash trip. Cold nights and decently warm days. Fishing was slow, but we found some browns this time. We caught 3 or for kokanee on a flasher/wedding ring set up, and 4 browns on flies. We didn't even see a rainbow.
