Mayer State Park bass fishing

Went bass fishing at Mayer State Park today. Arrived around 9:30 and caught 4 smallmouth bass in the 10 to 14 inch range. Fished the small cove to the right of the boat ramp. I was using Berkley Gulp plastic grubs with the 3" pumpkinseed being the most productive. Saw a few being caught along the rocky shoreline also. Just a little over an hours drive from Portland down I-84.

i was out there on saturday morning bank fishing and tried kayak fishing with a buddy of mine. i landed about a 2lb bass. ill uploaded in a bit. but yea we caught and released probly about a dozen smallmouths. different sizes, but a couple good size ones too. we came from portland too. worth it tho
