Latest summer run jigs

I wanted to create something really buggy looking and this is what I cam up with. On a sunny day the body material will shine through in a rootbeer color and should give a truly buggy appearance. Should fool something into taking a swipe at it. I hope to create a light weight version for either a fly rod or behind a float just not sure how to get the same look and make it light enough to run just below the surface or wake the surface.

If I make many more I may consider that. Might get to try them tomorrow and see if they work but dark colors are not going to be my first choice in muddy and colored water. Stained maybe but I bet the local rivers are still pretty muddy.

Is only one feather for the wrap. Just a lot of it. I hope theywork, won't know until June for summers but trout might like them too and might get bigger fish than those typical "catchable" plants.
