Last trip before closing-- where to go?

Gonna head out next week for one last trout trip before ( many of ) the lakes close; only thing is, I have no idea where to go. My usual favorites, Wickiup and Diamond haven't produced all that well for me this year, and I need to try a different spot

Any suggestions? Thanks

Wickiup is super slow. I spent 5 days there recently and only caught a buzz.

My self im heading to Diamond before it closes. It'll be cold but should be worth it!

Lost lake in clatsop county has a nice campground near it and they stock it with recycled steelhead from the nehalem hatchery. Ollallie might be interesting, maybe a little snowy?

I went out yesterday for my last fly fishing trip for the year yesterday. I hit up one of my favorite small streams and plied it with light rods. caught a number of 6-8 inchers, and finished the day off with the biggest fish of the day - a solid 10 incher that made the drag sing a little bit. Had a few hook ups on bigger fish - including one that I think would've gone 12 inches - but it was an acrobat and spit the barbless fly when it jumped. Had a lot of fish hit a dry hopper fished tight to the bank, but I couldn't get solid hook ups. All the landed fish came off an uncased green caddis imitation and a black conehead woolly bugger in size 14. I didn't get much fishing in this season - so it was nice to get out and hit a favorite stream one last time.

East lake was producing a lot of nice 15"-20" when I was there 3 weeks ago. But could of changed by now. Worth looking up though. U might hook into a nice brown as well

What are recycled steelheads? Odd phrase...

They're hatchery fish that show up at the hatchery, do their business and are released down river by odfw to finish their run
