I Live in the Gresham area and I want to know, Where can I catch Bass?

I have caught TONS of smallies but NEVER a Largemouth.

Anyone Give me some hints????

west salish i believe has some

I go ther a lot but havent seen anyone catch some there.

Warm water..

Warm water..

Warmer water...I did catch one this last Sunday but it was an unintentional catch. One needs shallow water this warms up first...heck it snowed down here this morning. Spring is trying but old man winter just won't let go.. It seems like, at least where I live that the first part of May is the real start of Large Mouth catching. Now that may be because I really don't start targeting them until then.... Best of luck and make sure you are holding your mouth right..

East salish has more of the warm water fish I think... The columbia also has them too. Wingdams are all over too... good cover they provide I thinks... If you can brave it and walk on on the wingdam (they are maybe 2 ft wide with a solid plank in the middle), you could drop a spinner bait or jig or something and just walk along...

Hit the Coast Lakes, like TenMile, Siltcoos, Cullaby etc for bass. Warms sooner and lots of fun structure. Also the pads are just starting to open up.
