Lakes and ponds

Is Olalla lake open all year? I have searched everywhere online and in the fishing regulation books which say most lakes and ponds are open all year. When I gave odwf a call the automated phone kept cutting off. Just looking to kill some time with my ol' man.

BTW, you might get lucky and hook a steelie. They are surplus winter fish; that get dumped in from time to time.
