Klickitat Lake

So on a tip from RunWithSasquatch I headed up to Klickitat today to try my hand at some cutties. Was gorgeous up there today, and fairly decent fishing, but if anyone heads up, PLEASE BE CAREFUL near the bank. I misplaced a step and went into mud up to my knee, but luckily there was a log nearby and I was able to catch myself, cause I think I could have gone quite a bit deeper. Still, lots of fun :)

Any size to them? I think it's been 20+ years since I've been there, maybe I'll take the kids.

Wow. I've been there, but was unaware of quicksand!

Thanks for the heads up.

P.S. I'd like to know what sort of size them buggers were too.

10-12" with a couple a little bigger. Small blue and silver blue fox spinner near the bottom with a real slow retrieve worked better than anything else. I showed around noon and was pretty slow, one or two per hour, then picked up near sunset.

Glad to hear you had some success
