Way to go Brotha! Nice fresh super chrome summer. Been tryin to get into them on the lower river lately so i can get it a little more dialed in. So far, nothing to show but a few redsides. Keep up the good work. And are you still using that 8'6" okuma?? I might have to drop the 7'6" this year. Well... it is now custom after breaking the rod, it is now 7'2"! hahahah NICE FISH, made me drool just a little bit more.

If things keep going like this, you may have to rethink your 'vengeance' plan of 2 summers to my 1...I think I've also got a bit of an advantage being in a spot to get the early arrivals a little sooner than you can and that plan of yours might just get real tough, LOL

Just have my rod builder make you an mhx blank to your specs, there every bit as good as a gloomis imx but half the cost. Probably one of the best rods availbale if you know who to contact. Blows berkely, wright, and all the other companys out of the water probably better than st croix too

Man you're a freaking assassin with that hardware! Show me you're ways! Beautiful fish for sure! Normally, looks wise I prefer slightly colored up steel, but ain't nothin wrong with some chrome! Nice work dude! Yeah I wish the fish didn't have to travel so far to get to my home river... Nice work!

Bah! Connected with another today after work on the spoon, but after a bit of surface thrashing, my line went slack as it moved toward me...reeled up, fish still there, but a few more tugs and slack again. Gone. So the magic was still there, but couldn't close the deal.

Oh, and this fish was in the exact same hold as that 12.5 pounder I nabbed a little while ago...same cast and hit at the same spot on the swing. My little secret lie now

Oh man, looks like i may have to switch it up and go for the warmer water on the willy. Search down low a little more. This is going to be one hell of a fun summer chasing these fish every week, multiple days of the week. I find it so hard to switch it up to the willy. Besides no steely action today and the last week, i have got the chance to watch birds... lol! But that it okay because they are espreys and eagles. They be back and its awesome. Got to watch 3 osprey and 1 huge eagle duel it out for the last 3 days. Pretty fun to watch.

I am tempted to go drive and find your spot 1 week and i will get my first.
