if you have been to the sportsmen shows you have probably ran into gary from fwg tackle he wrote this humors and informative article about a kokanee and a guy named dude that I thought was pretty good to help under stand kokanee a little better.

This is a great article, well worth the read, not just for Kokanee but for any fish in a descending water column.

As well it really sticks a fork in the UV nonsense, which is a misleading claim.

I've read that at least half a dozen times and I think I learn something new every time. Most of it applies to many different types of fish most lakes.

FishFinger—UV nonsense, absolutely! The guy from Vance tackle even said that glow in dark will out fish UV (from the DVD Kokanee 101). However, fishermen are on the UV kick so tackle companies make UV lures.
