ANy pointers? I will have my kayak with me so I can get around a bit. I'd love any info!

I've been quite a few times recently. Both PowerBait and live worms have been working great for me. I'm mostly getting bass but if you fish over by the dam you can get some pretty good sized trout.

Try up in the arms in grass. Senkos weightless along the grass edges are producing well. If you move to deeper water throw on a jig or tube and crawl it around the end of downed trees. I got some smalloes doibg thst last week.

Sain Creek section next to ramp 'C' is a nice float for a kayak.
If you're fly fishing, troll low and slow.
Also near the dam by ramp 'A' trolling about 75 yards OFF the dam.

Welcome to the Forum!

Drag a drop shot worm across the bottom, close to any points/drop offs/rocks/logs. You can always throw a crank bait style lure to kinna find where they are, but to me the drop shot has worked for me in the past at Hagg. There are a lot of ways to catch bass, but finding them first is 80% of the battle.
