Headed for first bass trip of the year

Headed out to cottage grove lake (home waters) to try and tempt some buckets to bite. Should be easy as i know every rock stump depression in the lake. (Gps). But fishing is fishing and catching is a whole nother deal. Will post pics if anythig landed !

Well me and my buddy went from about 12 pm to about 445pm and only landed one bass its as if they just didn't want to corporate and the WIND WAS SO BAD WE COULDN'T FISH. so we bundled up and casted crankbaits WITH THE WIND in some deep holes on flats that i know of and wham fish on for my buddy about a 4 pounder or so dont exactly know the weight but 4 is a great guess.....no other hits in the same area, caught a trout and that was it. the bass was dark and had red all over in his mouth so they are active as can be.
