Good spots around Portland this time of year?

Hey guys,

I don't do much bass fishing, but, I want to try out some bass tackle we're selling including your standard worm rigs and some finesse football jigs. Where might I have success around Portland this time of year?

Are you fishing from the bank? A number of the Kayak fishing guys do very well out of their boats around George Rogers park for smallies, but I don't think there are many place to fish from shore there. Hagg Lake is also a popular spot with tons of bank access, which is about an hour from downtown.

I will. Bass fishing isn't my usual cup o' tea, but, Fish Itch is selling some Tru-Turn bass hooks this week and Green Tackle is gonna be introducing some lead free football jigs real soon, so I like to know how to fish the products I'm selling. I think I'm gonna head out to Cathedral park in the AM since it's about 8 minutes away. When I have more time I'll try out the areas around Oaks Park.

About when do the bass stop biting?
