yup, it is. we used to get decent size bass in the 3# range from there. but over the years, it gets worse and worse. I think the biggest one we caught last trip was about 1.5#.

If so...my pops, and I, used to have private property permission--and fished it often, in the mid 70's. We used to head upstream on the east side; and down to a GREAT crappie pocket! I dropped by that place, about 3 years ago. The same "little old lady", was still there--and was now 92! She was a sweetie. I need to stop by again, and see if she's still there.

yea it is. about a decade ago, I caught some good size bass from this spot. not the case any longer.
