First "big" bass of the year

This guy weighed in at 6lbs 8oz. Caught it on a 5" watermelon blk/red flake senko. The funny thing is a missed the hook set the first time on this bass. I could tell it had some weight to it when I set the hook the first time. So decided to throw my senko back into the same spot and sure enough he went for it a second time. As you can tell he didn't get away the second time lol. I was fishing in my kayak and think he pulled me a good ten feet. Doesn't take much to pull the kayak around but it's always fun when they take you for a ride. It's also got help to tire the fish out when they pull my 200 lbs fat butt around lol. Sorry about the horrible picture quality. My phone doesn't take very good pictures. Especially when the selfie camera on it is covered in fish slime lol. I tried wiping most of it off.

I have fished this same spot lots of times. It's a tiny patch of lily pads. Pulled out a lot of bass in the 2-4 pound range in that patch just nothing over 6lbs.
