Fall Chinook from the bank

Are fall Chinook moving up the coastal rivers yet? I'm not having any luck finding reports.

They are waiting for rain, to bring the water up high enough. As well as waiting for colder water temps, before they begin their spawning runs. They aren't warm-water fish. May not even be in the bays yet; let alone up and into tidewaters. Gonna have to wait for a month or more; before we see enough, and cooler, rain.

Hit the mouth of any coastal river. Action at the jetties is heating up.

thanks for the replies. I've never fished off the jetties. This could be interesting.

Is anybody fishing Siletz Bay for salmon yet? I’m looking forward to getting on it ASAP!
