Ducks and steelhead?

Well, i went duck hunting today and shot a 4 man limit of 28 ducks. 8 mallards, a bunch of wigeon, and a few pintail. Great day for duck hunting off of the long tom river.
Tomorow i am going steelhead fishing on the alsea, is it possible to get two limits from different species in one weekend? I sure hope so. It would make for some good eating.,
Wish me luck tomorow, i will have a full report with pictures if i catch fish.

Well i hit the alsea river near the town of alsea and caught 3 dark salmon. I decided there was no steelhead there so i headed west hopeing to find some holding fish somewhere. I stoped and fish a few miles past five rivers.
10 or 12 cast with a bobber and x-factor eggs and bam! Fish on.
The fish put up a great fight and when i got it to my feet in waste high water, to my dissapointment it was a bright hen coho .
It was a fun day but i am about tired of all these salmon in the river. Im ready for some rain and some steelhead.
Here in a couple hours i will post a new thread with a bunch of fish porn, but for now its lunch time then nap time.

same thing happened to me the other day.....landed 3 coho...one was super chrome.....then lost my damn steelhead at the bank after 3 strong runs.
