Dorsal fin clipped!!!

I got a summer this past saturday and has the dorsal fin clipped as well as the adipose fin!! Does anyone knows what this mark means?? Does this fish took the wrong turn and is from another hatchery??? BTW I got.it on the Clackamas!!

Was it a clean cut or does it look like it was worn off or maybe bitten?
 
People clip those fish, people make mistakes (or are messin around). My guess is that fish was mis clipped.. should only ever have the adipose and vent fins clipped. I don't know of any systems that clip dorsal fins.

Hatchery fish will often times wear their dorsal fins down in the cement tanks. Up on the OP it used to be the way to tell a hatchery fish from a wild fish before they started clipping the adipose fin.

It was a perfect clean cut!!! So perfect that you dont see any scar on it!!!
 
I have to say it was clipped when the adipose was..

Sometimes kids on field trips do the clippin:)
