The ladies are just coming off the beds here, too. But the beauty of bass fishing this lake is that if you don't have a 14' or smaller aluminum set up specifically for bassin', you aint gonna be able to get to these fish. In addition, once the water drops about 2' from here, even that wont work. In addition to the bass, the trout are totally unmolested here for the same reason....with 2# - 5# busting the surface and nosing the side of my boat feeding on the damsel hatch.

If I didn't know better I'd say there is an Alligator in that first photo.... Very nice fish indeed. What a beautiful place to spend a day...

Yup. and there are lots of his relatives just below the surface just waiting to feed on fiberglass bass boats and blow-up dolls. :yikes:

Ought to send the gator/croc pic, in to ODFW. Maybe they'll put it in next year's reg book!
