Coho spawners

I just caught these guys with my camera coming up a little creek on the Oregon coast a couple days ago. I used my canon 300mm lens without disturbing the fish or getting my feet wet. The light for shooting them was perfect. A friend of mine showed me this place and asked that I do not disclose its location.

There seems to be a lot of native coho this year. Beautiful shots.

Awesome pictures. Love the colors and clarity :thumb:

TJO- those are freakin fantastic shots, thank you for posting them, really nice to see those bright spawning colors. I put 3 wild coho on my tag last year from my kayak but I also let 3 go off spinners unharmed, habitat improvement is a key part of continuing to strengthen our runs of these great fish...cheers, roger

amazing pics for sure

Awesome pics, as usual!

Thanks for posting them here. I might print one or two out and put it on my work door.

Best,

They're all awesome, but that first shot takes the cake.

If you haven't already, send those beauts into a magazine.

I second that motion! At least tell me you have your own blog so you can become famous and share that way. :thumb: :worthy:

Truly beautiful shots!

WOW! those are great, love the colors. Thanks for sharing.

I would love to have a huge print of that second shot hanging on my wall, beautiful!

Wow those are really beautiful pictures. Usually I only see them when pieces of them are falling off.

Very cool! I love to see evidence of a healthy system at work, gets my blood going with joy.
