If you happen to hook-a-nook (and land it) at clackamette while fishing between the clack and the willy, is it considered from the clack or willy? I dont want to keep something I can't keep... Please reply, Im going tomorrow evening.

My understanding is that you have to be East of the 99 Bridge/McLaughlin for the retention of nooks.

Yep upstream of the 99/Mclaughlin bridge for it to be legal.

Ok thanks a lot.
Steel is still open for retention for both rivers right?

Yep:D

Oh yippe yay. I hope they bite small green jigheads!

Do shad bite 1/6 oz thomas bouyants or kastmasters?

I was woundering the same thing about the Kastmasters.

Shad will hit almost any thing at one time or another but jig heads are so cheap and easy.

Yeah I usually do best with jigs. But have seen em caught on Thomas's

I have caught them at Cascade locks with red trebles with oreange/green yarn.

Yeah they are not the smatest fish out there thats for sure
