Chrome-ery

Let me start off by saying what a beautiful day out on the river yesterday. Sun shining and rods were getting some serious bendo. Got to the river a little late but we still managed to round out a few. Total tally was 8 or 9 fish hooked in a little less than prime conditions. All fish were caught back bouncing tuna balls or eggs and jigs under a float. Even got a surprise feisty Chum..Love those fish.

I'm thinking maybe one more trip for the big boys. It's going to be hard to go away from that back bounce bite for a while, but I sure do love my winters...

God, that bottom one is a belly-busting porker!

yeah, love that bottom fish...oink oink...what an beauty.

That bottom one was every bit of 25# and probably the freshest up river fish I've seen all year. Skeins the size of my arms.

It was the first jig fish of the day and fought like a train.

I got a few pictures of my buddy with it and it was so chrome I was getting the mirror blur off of it. Crazy.
