teehee....that's what we did today. Jeanna, Eric and I headed up to Little Fall Creek and decided to check out Big Fall Creek first....sweet water but some fool decided we couldn't fish there. So then we headed to Little.....Found a couple of nice holes and hiked the trail around the trash and debris, got a blackberry branch wrapped around me...Jeanna just kept going and then just stood patiently while I fought my way out. After hiking awhile we got to a little gully full of brambles...backtracked...teehee...called Eric to see where he was and decided to head to Oakridge. sheesh. At Greenwater Park the river was so high we just stood and watched Eric toss a few.....Ate a sammich and decided to go to the North Fork...I think that is where we were...oh yeah...Eric decided to part company and go OFF on his own. Not sure where he went so he will have to add to the thread. We got to the NF and wow, I mean wow....we found some sweet spots there...just need it to drop just a bit. Fished along there at a few spots and then headed home. have to say that my new waders kept me warm and very very dry...yesssss. Oh yeah. No fish caught but it was great to get out and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.

sorry no pics...the powers that be have decided that I cannot post pics today...maybe tomorrow it will work...grrrr. Jeanna got an awesome pic of one of the places we stopped....hopefully she posts it.

The intervention? Half way finished. Jeanna has promised that she will NOT throw all her gear out. Maybe the Columbia will bring her back. Thanks Jeanna and Eric for a great day.

Im glad I didn't throw my fishing gear out lol. Thanks for getting me back out.

Nice Pics, looks beautiful. Always good to see green water! I noticed the McKenzie was running green yesterday also. So unlike the Willy in Eugene lately.

Sweet pics!!! Looks like a fun trip! Did you guys happen to notice the color of the lakes?

Didn't see hills creek, I imagine that's the only one though that doesn't look like crap. Dexter and lookout were a shade of green/brown, mostly brown. Fall creek was dark green. They're all higher than they should be so come springer time, we will all be screwed again when they let out water to make room for snow runoff like they did last year.

Did you know that EWEB releases more water from the canals that equals to an amount of 2 ft in the Mac just for the salmon?

Was way more than 2 feet last spring, everything was blown out when there was no rain from the dam output. Dams mess with everything. Oh well

They do, but I like the electricity.

Was a pretty cool little stream. At first, I thought it would be awesome to run in a 'toon. And thennnn...came upon a 6 foot drop and massive rapids lol. I told rose, it would be pretty fun, but, the consensus is we would probably die. Once again, truly a great day, even with the quart and a half of water in my right leg. Thank you quarter inch gash, wish I had seen that before I stepped into the water! Such a nasty feeling when it feels like someone shoved a garden hose in your waders.

Yep, that was quite a gash.....I know your pain. Actually, when you said it wouldn't be bad for the toons....I was thinkin NOOOOOO. Then when we seen the "falls" I kind of went whew to myself. It is beautiful water.....can't wait till it drops a bit. The one place where we were standing in crystal clear water, the sun was shining on the river and there was no rain? It doesn't get any better than that.
