Cashed in my thousands of casts

The fish of a thousand casts has felt like 100,000 lately but it finally turned. Got my limit today in about half an hour. The first one looked like a monster flailing down the river in heavy current. I thought for sure I had lost him but I tightened the drag and slowly worked him back up the river. Its amazing what 8lb Ultragreen can do to a 10# fish. Not long after I had #2 and was headed home. Amazingly both of these fish are my first ever on a drift rig.

8 lb ultragreen breaks at 16 lbs so that poor 10 lb steelhead never had a chance! Nice fish. It sure was a zoo today but lots of fish on the bank.
