Carping on the Columbia

Jeff and I decided to go carping this past Friday on the Columbia. We got to the location at about 9am. The wind was calm, the water was 65 degrees and glass. Just as we were putting our kayaks in we saw carp tailing and feeding in the shallows. Visibility was in the 10-12ft range and knew it was going to be a great day of slaying fish. I shot several fish throughout the day and Jeff set a new personal best by taking a 26 pound carp! Not a shabby day on the Columbia. This might be my last carp video for the season but I'm crossing my fingers. And don't mind my sociopathic laugh at the end, I get extra rep points for that Enjoy!

Actually I found a guy that eats them. So I called him up and asked if he wanted them. Sure enough he showed up to my house and took all 5 haha.

I think we get one more week of warm weather for the shallow carp
