They have been in a freezer for 2 months forgot they were there. Would they still be good?
Can I still eat frozen trout after almost 2 months in a freezer.

Depends on how it was saved, vacuum sealed will last up to a year. I’d say probably yes.

You could always use it as crab bait

Worst case scenario: they may taste a little freezer burnt. If so just doctor them up, to suite your taste buds.

I tried some trout as crab bait and they would not touch it. Chicken works better.

I am really curious, when you are smoking your fish just how do you keep the paper wrapped around it. I have tried but have not been successful.
