Wondering about NO MOTOR designation on several high lakes. Does this apply to all motors including electric?

In some cases--yes, it can apply to both electric and gas. It depends on which lake(s)...at times, on a case-by-case basis. Check with the Oregon Marine Board, if you're not sure. Forest Service too, if any are on their land.

With some shabby research, it appears I wasted dough in buying an electric motor. With over eighty lakes prohibiting motors of any kind in ore, it's all about oar power.

Thanks roger! Wish I did have a hobie, but my boat is a inflatable raft equipped with a row frame. Just have to work out the blown out, building trade, 72 year old shoulders detail and get used to the ease of rowing.
